How deep is your love?

How far can you go in forgetting and forgiving your ex? Someone you had deeply loved once before. Someone who you think will be the one that you will spend you lifetime with and also someone who you know no matter what happens he or she will be by your side till death do you apart.

How deep is our love exactly? I believe when there is a time you mind speaks louder than you heart, you know what is right and clear at the moment. Many times our heart leads us to do things that we should not do no matter how much it hurt us or the one we love. Therefore, when our heart no longer able to justify with our mind, then we know for sure the pain is the real pain that we are feeling.

Woman especially is a very funny creature. Most of us, when in love, we will basically do anything to endure any hardships that comes along. But when we are being hurt, how mean can we go in treating regardless to ourselves or to that person? That person, once we call ‘love’.

I’ve heard and seen people who committed suicide, give hope on themselves, getting drunk and even thinking that there is no way they can ever love before. Trust is just nothing but a word. I don’t blame them because we will never ever be able to understand.

Have you found anyone that you will give in everything just to make it work? Have you found your love? Or will you love again?

Shop or Stop?

What kind of a shopper are you? Are you the kind of shopper who will buy just anything just because it is so happens cheap or on sale? Or are you the kind of shopper who will but the exact thing you are looking for and no matter what the price cost. Quality, quantity or ego satisfactory?

How much is consider appropriate to spend on a bag or a pair of shoes? Of course it is never exactly a guideline depending on your financial ability. However, it is necessary to have branded items, at least one? If Einstein is still alive, perhaps he can make a formula out of the following;

Women = shopping

If only we know the formula to such equation, perhaps we will be able to save more and afford our basic necessity much sooner. Lets say

Money + time + energy = shopping

Adding money by working more will take out more time and energy, can shopping be lessen in this case? So does that mean we have to work more to get our time occupied and then we will be able to distract ourselves from splurging? If so, if I were to work more, the below scenario might happen

No time for Ping
No time for mum n dad
No time for friends and gathering.

Resulting to unhappy Ping, unhappy mum n dad and unhappy friends. We wouldn’t like that won't we, I believe. If everyone is so unhappy, what is the purpose for our handwork then? I guess that is no better way than sacrificing ourselves for our love ones.

Continue shopping and continue loving...

next on top of my shopping list.. a proper audio set for my bloody laptop..

Awana Genting - delayed post

On last Sept 27, we went to Awana Genting for our appreciation night. There were about 145 ppl that joined the event of the day, that’s almost half from our company. Our colleagues from outstation like JB, KUCHING, KUANTAN, PENANG AND KK too were there with us.

It was just a simple dinner that our management decided to throw as a token of appreciation. And so as one of the committee and cheap labour, there we go planning a month head, preparing all the signage, medals, gives, games, accommodation and etc etc = late night meeting and work..but I must say, it is quite nice to have colleagues who work as hard as we do by coming out with all sorts of idea, it sometimes makes you tired but at times it give you satisfaction working together.

Anyway, we left for genting on the Saturday morning and check in immediately after that. I’ve never been to awana and surprisingly I kinda like it though it’s a bit old. I especially love the balcony as I can imagine having steamboat in a mini rice cooking while enjoying the cooling air with ping hehehe love and hubby, what a combination akakakkaka

So after we’ve checked in, it’s time for tele- match!! All of us were divided in 6 groups and it is funny to see how many people who use to be serious or shy in the company were laughing and talking to each other. Then it was free and easy in the afternoon while us rushing up to prepare for the night’s dinner. It’s actually a BBQ buffet by the pool side. Pool side in genting? Yes, and guess what I’ve even got sun burn, dun ask me y~

At night, we have door gift, bingo, games, lucky draw and cash prize given away. I’ve just managed to get a RM40 shopping vouchers in the lucky draw .. but better than nothing hor hehehe I hope they have fun.. I’m sure we had despite all the hard work

I’ll let the pictures to show you how’s the night afterall pictures cakap ribuan kata~

Mid Autumn - late edition

Well, I’ve been pretty busy with my work these days . Apart from daily work on hand, I too will have to handle some activities by the company’s staff committee. It is sort of a welfare club for the associates whereby we will organize monthly bday celebration, movie nite, festive celebration like annual dinner, chinese new year, mooncake, raya, xmas and other except Cheng Beng for a year .

So was really tied up with all the preparation for food, games, prizes and etc. We will usually have meetings during lunch hour or after 6pm and therefore by the time I got home, bath and everything, it has increased my possibility to be late in the office the next day hehehe

We had also organized a mid autumn dinner and gathering in the office. The dinner was carried out in buffet style before proceeding with games and prizes. On top of that, we too arranged a traditional game called ‘Guess the Lantern’s Riddles’. Instead of posting riddles in Chinese poem or asking mostly history related questions, we had decided to prepare the riddles …. with a bit of creativity. Try and see if you know the answer,

Q: What did the banana say when it went to the doctor?
A : "I'm not peeling very well."

Q: What is the colours of Power Rangers?
A: Gold, cause it’s "Gold Gold Power Rangers!"

Q : One day, Batman and Superman had a race. In the end, Superman won. How come?
A: Cause when Batman begins, Superman returns

HEHEHE Anyway, back to the story, I’m really glad that people seems to enjoy the riddles and also the activities for the nite. It seems that it pay all the hard work that we had invested seeing their pictures and hearing their laughters.

Happy Deepavali..

Staff committee meeting…..29 September 2008

Vivian and I think, we can do a Kolam for Deepavali…* silent*

Day 1…15 October 2008…………..6.30pm…………….After work.

Will full support from the management had cooperation from all staff welfare committee, we set of to work with 6kg of coloured rice grain, nine pieces of A4 paper printed with the graphic that we had drawn, two sharp pencils, rulers, mahjong paper and others. This is the first time we will be doing a Kolam and with all hopes it will turn out fine if not fabulous.

9.30pm….

After 3 hours of hard works and answering the same questions over and over again, we decided to call it for the day as the office is about to close. Basically, questions asked are as below:
Q1. What is that? Sand?grain?
Ans1: There’re grain, dyed using clothes dye and food dye. We have a total of nine colours all together.
Q2. What is it for?
Ans2: It’s for Deepavali, festival of colour.
Q3. Did you guys put glu on it? Or you can put glu and spinkle around to get the picture.
Ans3: No, we didn’t use any glu. It is arranged slowly, bits by bits and grain by grain. Totally, hand-made.

Pic1 : First day effort before touch up.

Day 2…16 October 2008…………..6.00pm…………….After work.
Armed with more warriors this time, we work together filling in the Kolam slowly as we share laughter and encouragement along the process. Happy Deepavali signage was set up and candles were placed around the Kolam.

With a final touch of gold dust sprinkle on top, around and on the peacock’s eye, we had successfully completed our Kolam for the year after nearly six hours of work and weeks of preparations.
It may not be the best Kolam you’ve seen but it’s the best the staff committee has given.

8.30pm…
Home and feeling satisfied.

Happy early Deepavali..

Looking for books

Do you like to read? I love reading. Nothing too intellectual mostly, fiction, adventure, mysteries, or history-related kinda books.

When I was a small little girl I used to read at night before I go to sleep. In fact, I had a table next to my bed even until today, a small rack placed neatly beside. In future, yes, a small drawer and wall lamp next to my bed.

I remember buying a dozen of Siri Salma ( Malay edition of Nancy Drew) at one time costing me about RM30.00 ( I remember very well, RM2.50 a book).I saved a long time for that amount of money. Then there was Sweet Valley ( Twins, High and SVU), R.L Stine, Jackie Collins (later on), Dan Brown, Danielle Steel, Sidney Sheldon and so fort.

I love reading about the mysteries of so n so, the lost city of where n where, the myth and tales of Egypt, China, the truth about dinasours and others too. True stories always fascinate me cause the book is suppose to tell what is true and whether we choose to believe it or not, still it is interesting to read and do additional research on the story after that.

I have collection of books that I really like but somehow some got lost when I can’t remember who had I lend them to. In fact, I had lost one book that I kinda like sometime ago entitle Tell Me You Dreams by Sidney Sheldon. Am currently searching for the following books and hopefully I’ll be able to grab hold of them soon.

Switching Time: A Doctor's Harrowing Story of Treating a Woman with 17 Personalities

Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber

Maybe someday I shall try reading biography~ mmm…

hehehehehehehehehehehehe....hehehehehehe

I had bought 2 pcs of Da Ma Chai with a bunch of sohay in Cheras while we were having our lunch gathering last Saturday. The result is already out and it should be featured in yesterday’s newspaper . And for the record I have yet to check on the result cause I’m waiting for Ping to check it with me together this Thursday ( his off day)

I wasn’t sure how much was the prize accumulated for this time and in fact I was kinda clueless when the result will be out too when I bought the lucky tickets. My colleague told me the price for this time is 1.4 million ringgit and then I can’t stop but to think.. if I have 1.4million ringgit, I would……...

1. Divide it into 50-50 ( Ping n myself, as it is indeed one ticket for him and one for myself, leaving each of us with RM700,000)
2. With the 50% I have, I would first clear my dad’s new car installment, clear my ptptn, and clear our house loan.
3. Then, family vacation to oversea (depending where our parents would like to be) for dad, mum, both bros, sis in law, myself and ping. Expenses all on me hehehe . I do think Ping will do the same and that time, my expenses will be on him kakakkaaka since we r both same rich ma! Kakakakaka
4. Buy a new unit depending where myself n ping will be working.
5. Save a budget for renovation
6. Start a funding for my parent’s retirement, my children and our retirement.
7. Helping my younger bro with his dream to open a sushi bar.
8. Marie France!! Yea yea!! Hehehehehe
9. Start a business once I’ve got the idea what I wanna do as for now, even if I do have the money, I’m not too sure what I want to do yet.
10. A DSL camera of my own J
11. Take up courses like Dreamweaver, Flash and so on.

And I promise and I know I will not…
1. Act like a bitch as I always believe we must be humble and polite no matter how well we do in all area cause everything is a blessing.
2. Splurge like there’s no tomolo
3. Stop working cause I dun see the necessity and at the same time I am still young and I want to work and learn all the time.

THERE! At the time being hehehehehe

I think I dream too soon la kakakakakakakakaka but can’t help it u know hehehehe if really hor~~~ waliew~~~ hehehehehehehehe

Sorry sorry excuse me hehehehehehehe

WISH ME LUCK~~~~ HEHEHEHEHE if I win, I’LL BUY U A SUPER DUPER NICE DINNER FOR YOU N YOUR HUBBY!!! HEHEHEHEHE

* grin* hehehehe

Better back to work~

Saying a little prayer..

This post might be offensive or disturbing to some however again, this is my blog.i hope if ever you've came across this post, read it with an open heart and mind for everyone has their own believe and thinking which has no right or wrong to it.

when was the last time did i say my prayer? i can't remember. is it true that people will only seek for God in the mist of misery? And is it true that God will always listen to those who wish to seek for Him?

Faith is not something something that you can have or get anytime as you wish.Faith is a bond, a feeling,a connection that is build from time to time, from miracles to miracles and from each blessing that you've counting day by day.It is through prayer that i have my faith and it is through all the miracles and blessings,i have my faith strengthen.

I do feel bad at times that i will only remember God when i am lost or when all of a sudden i know i must praise the Lord for every blessing that i've received. I thank God all the time,(i know i have so much more to thank of and i couldn't thank enough)..however,i failed to keep praying every night.

Those who are close to me always ask and wonder if i am a Christian. I never say No neither have a i say Yes. But i always say, i believe in Jesus and I seek for him for i know he will keep me blessed and he will love me, and those that i love dearly always.I know i can always look for Lord as he is always there and he is in my heart.

It has occured to me these two days on how long have i say my prayer and i hope in days to come, i shall say my prayer more often again. Laziness please please go away.

In the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, Dear Father in heaven, Lord Jesus, please forgive me for my sin and also for those that has sin against me.Dear Lord, i thank you for all the blessing and love that you have showered upon me and those around me. Dear Lord, i pray for the best of health, safety and happiness to surround, dad, mum,my brothers, sheau hooi, ping, ping's mum and his family, my family and our friends. May my dear friend will be able to find the light in her life and may Lord bless and guide her along the way.I Thank you Lord for all that you given. Amen.

Elder bro Jerry's ROM in Spore - Part 2

WARNING..THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG LONG POST and A POST WITH LOTS OF PHOTOS!

September 2008
Bro : Hey 2nd Oct free kah?
Sha : Can a..raya ma..y?
Bro : I’m getting engage on that day, see if you can come over to spore….

And so I took a day leave on 3rd Oct, informed Ping that bro’s is getting engaged and it’s time to start for some preparation. On top my list, diet..haih.. hehehe After few weeks of stairs climbing, dinner skipping and green tea sipping, I did shed some fat though not much but ok-la, just enough to avoid long lost relative looking at me and Uuu, Aaaa and the Waaaaaa “ Kai Sim, long time didn’t see you d.. wah so big girl already a, wah you gained weight o, must diet le, fat girl no one will like one neh..” Waliew, I might be fat but I have boobs which you don’t kakakakakaka joking joking.

30th Sept 2008
Anyway, back to the story, myself and ping depart from KL to JB on 30 OCT 2008 carrying flu and cough with us.. I was not feeling well actually but luckily I have ping to take care of me. We reached ping’s house that day and we spent a night in JB b4 going to Spore the following day.

1ST Oct 2008
The last time I went to Spore was in May 2008 and the last time Ping went to Spore was 6 years ago. However, this is the first time both of us will be travelling to Spore from JB using public transport, i.e the local express bus. We usually take express bus straight from KL to Spore or Taiping to Spore where we will get down and got up the same bus when we reach the immigration. The bus driver will make sure you are in the bus before the depart and as from JB to Spore is like taking normal transit bus where you purchase a RM2.50 bus ticket and the bus will not wait for you. However, you can wait at the bus stop for the next express bus to come by.

After jumping up and down from bus, we reached Bugis street Spore and after a call for my elder bro for direction, off we went to the nearest MRT station to take a train to Aljunied (where both my bros stay). It’s always nice to be with Ping in a foreign place and both of us have no idea which direction to go to but we will both try to find the way through map or asking the people around. Its especially nice to have Ping leading me.

We reached Aljunied and my whole family was already there. Father, mother, Jerry, Barry and Sheau Hooi. Syiok nia!!!!! ALL SICKNESS ARE GONE BY THEN! HEHEHE..

That night we check-in to a chalet in Alaho Changi then dinner with Sheau Hooi’s family. Both her parents, sister, bro and her niece were there. An in-laws dinner hehehe

2nd Oct 2008
Tada! The day has come. Mum woke us up at 6.30am morning and we woke up at 8am instead kakaka bath, change and we are ready. Leng chai, leng lui sekalian are all fully dressed for my elder bro’s and sheau hooi’s big day. We reached the temple at about 9.35am and the master is already there waiting for us. Remembering the other time when Jerry MSN-ed me saying:

Jerry : er.. our registration will be at a temple like Tien Hou Kong
Sha : OK! So? You scared I cannot go in izzit? - ( My family thinks I’ve converted to Christianity)
Jerry : You know la.. different Boss ma…
Sha : *sweat*

So after saying ‘ I Do ’ ‘ You Do’..SMILE!! CHEERS!! SNAP SNAP SNAP .. and off we went to have Japanese Lunch Buffet. YUM YUM~~
There we eat eat, snap snap, tok tok , laugh laugh and eat eat again..

We went back to our chalet and take a quick nap before having steamboat and BBQ at night. I love BBQ~~ and of course mahjong hehehe It’s MAHJONG TIME after the dinner!!! Lady luck was not with me that night, I lost SGD 18 which is about RM43.56. But luckily Ping won SGD15 hehehe so he kinda save me in that sense. In the end, I’ve lost SGD3 and he won nothing KAKAKAKAKA

3rd Oct 2008.
Checked out from chalet, head home to Aljunied. Bought lunch from the nearby stalls at my bro’s apartment. Take an afternoon walk with Ping. Love it and dinner with family at night near Suntec City. Shop a bit but I did not manage to buy anything except for few ASTRO BOY t-shirt at SGD8 per piece though. Lepak at food center near bro’s apartment with mum, dad Ping and Barry. Drink some beer, took some finger foods and brisk walking home..the breeze that night was lovely..simply lovely..

4th Oct 2008
Time to head back to JB. However, b4 we go back, we took our lunch at my aunt’s place in Spore and shop a bit at BUGIS STREET MARKET hehehe. Reached JB at about 8pm at night dinner with Ping’s family and that’s it, night night, sweet dreams~

We went home to KL the next day after meeting Ping's buddy Harry. I was totally recovered from my cold and feeling somewhat feeling happy and sweet. It’s always great being with my family with laughter and jokes going on all the time. On top of that, it’s so nice to c my bro settling down with a lovely wife and what’s more exciting is that we can now start looking forward for a little ‘HO’ in the family hehehe pressure nia hehehe

Aside, having Ping joining our family’s gathering this time was a lovely experience for both of us. Ping feel comfortable with my family and he actually enjoyed being with us . Couldn’t be happier and feel totally blessed :) So glad that Ping is happy and I hope my family like having him there too :)
