Saja

Buai buai angin bertiup
Kelopak bunga jatuh ke riba
Ada kala tak erti hidup
Ku pandang jauh entah ke mana

Angin bertiup semakin kencang
Awan tebal mengelubungi hari
Kerap sekali si gadis bertanya
Jauh nun di sana, jawapan dicari

Hujan lebat semakin dekat
Kedengaran titisan di tingkap biru
Hairan sekali hati rasa tenang
Mungkin erti semuanya akan berlalu

Seringkali si gadis lupa
Berhenti sejenak untuk menghayati
Hanya ingat masalah di depan
Lupa di sisi apa yang diberi

yogasyiokness

For the past 3 months, I’ve been attending yoga classes at the Les’s studio. I went with KhangNee my yoga-mate. I am not that kind of person that will enjoy much disciplined kind of sports. I like to move and run around, jumping up and down and too bad that I’m not born to be a monkey else, I might be a pretty good one.

silly ah nee

But somehow, it feels different with yoga. Though almost every step is about 3 to 5 breaths, poses and poses that challenge your weight against the gravity, it’s a miracle that I actually like practicing yoga. Not only it helps to relax my muscles and toning my body (though I didn’t lose any weight), the best thing about yoga is, I have good night sleep everytime after the class.

I have bad habit of waking up from sleep in the middle of the night (almost every night), whether it is pee-time or I’ll just simply wake up to change my sleeping position. This leaves me feeling extremely tired the very next morning which is also why I have difficulty waking up in the morning (am not finding excuses to sleep late, just clarifying hahahaha)

Anyway, if I manage to practice yoga that particular evening, I’ll usually have a very good night sleep that the moment I opened my eyes, I will be seeing the sun shines.

However, June is the last month that I’ll be joining the class to so call cut-cost due to the increment in everything nowadays. Need to save some money now and hopefully I can continue to practice yoga on my own (which I doubt too la)

But indeed it is a sport that I will join again in future if my wallet permit and the gov stop pushing.

last day at studio after class.

p/s: I'm going to miss catching up with nee at class after this.

Dinner, kungfu n tat's all

Went with Ping to OneUtama last Friday. It was Ping’s last day of his holiday. It will also be the last day for the very few times where I can be with ping for more than a week.

Initially he took one week off to spend some time with me in Taiping and another few more days to go back to JB. But he ended up staying in KL with me. I am totally thrilled and am truly touched by his gesture.

Fetching me to work, fetching home from work, having dinner together, sharing jokes, talking and poking at each other at night before we went to bed. It’s especially nice to find someone sleeping next to you when you wake up in the morning, and feeling the blanket covering your body from cold when it rains at night. I had a wonderful ‘week’ with Ping being by my side.

That Friday, we went and try out Seoul BBQ at OneU. It is situated near to TGI Friday. Very far at the corner and there were few more restaurants and new boutiques there too. We decided to try it out since it will be 2 more hours before our movie ‘KungFu Panda’

It’s actually a ALL-YOU-CAN –EAT buffet restaurant. The meat there was pretty nice. Well marinated. We have fun doing some BBQ as I’ve always love BBQ and also a small pot of soup for steamboat at the middle of the BBQ tray. The soup comes in few flavour such as herbal, kimchi and if I’ve not mistaken chicken I think. We settled for herbal soup but it was not really that good. Should try kimchi next time round.

The variety was not really that much and to be honest, besides stuffing yourself with marinated chicken, roughly below is what I can remember correctly ( I hope)

1) 2 types of fish
2) 3-4 types of clams
3) 1 type of prawns which is prawn
4) 2-3 types of marinated beef
5) 2-3 kinds of noodles
6) Some kimchi
7) Some mixture of steamboat material like crab meat, fish ball, chicken ball, wanton, etc etc.. I can’t recall if I see sausages though.
8) 2 types of fruits ( watermelon n melon)
9) 1 type of salad (I can’t find any nice tomato/ purple coloured cabbages, peanuts/raisins/etc)
10) 3 desserts ( longan ,ice kacang and ice cream)
11) Few choices of drink with RM 4 extra charges per person ( honey green tea, peach tea, ice tea, carbonated drinks, plain water and one more…can’t remember)

It cost us about RM 90.80 with only one drink and plus government and service tax. I remember the other time when we went to a Korean restaurant to have a decent Korean dinner with rice and everything. It costs us much less than that. So you make your call.
But as I mentioned before, the marinated meat there was pretty nice. Well marinated. But a bit costly if we are looking at the variety.

After that, we went to watch Kungfu Panda and I guess I dun have to review anymore on that cause I think most of us has already watched it. I hope I can catch the Cantonese version next week though J I love it!

How I wish for many more week like last week. But anyhow, xie xie lao kong, wo hao xin fu o.

Journey home

Driving from PJ to JB

Ping and I decided instead of traveling to overseas as we had planned on and off ( in fact we were pretty near in getting our air tickets booked when ping can’t get his leave approved) , we then agree to travel to his hometown and then to mine on father’s day.

We had never actually travel together by car as we could not possibly afford owning our own car until now. So I was pretty excited cause ping will be driving and I will be helping him along the way by u know, helping him with the water, food, jokes and help too look out for ‘super’ driver on the road.

We went to JB last 2 weeks. We travel at night. Ping’s buddy Harry was with us. This is the second time I had gone to ping’s place after being together for nearly 5 years. I remembered once I told Harry that there are lots of great food in Taiping and those that you can’t find at anywhere else in Malaysia and then both JB boys insisted that their JB is nor too far behind as well. We took up each other challenge for the fun of it to have our stomach burst with good food and prove that ‘Our’ own place offers the best food.

JB mee rebus~ pretty good

But of course, it was just for the sake of fun, it is like a norm that mothers will prepare lots of good food at home that you may not have to chance to taste outside food. At the same time, after having to eat at hawkers every night, mum’s cooking is like heaven.

Driving home from PJ to Taiping

Then, last week, we were on the road again and this time we are heading back to our lovely Taiping. I was so excited and the thoughts of driving home complete everything. Why do I say so? Well it is kinda silly, I’ve always wanted to have that kind of feeling where my bf will be able to drive me home instead of me always going home alone. The journey could be pretty lonely sometimes. Even when sometimes I went back with my friends in their car I secretly wished too that one day my bf could drive me home too. We were poor students back in the olden days.

My babies

Driving me home, sharing and experiencing the journey home. That’s what it is about. We reached home at about 11 plus that night. Enjoyed a few days of wonderfully delicious mum’s cooking, mouth-watering local food, comfortable bed with all my babies around me and every blessed second of laughter and jokes shared with mum n dad. It was a perfect weekend. Instead of celebrating father’s day, I enjoyed and gained so much more. Let’s just say, I’ve got a blessing from mum and dad.
