express haircut..

i went to have a hair cut at QQ Cut last saturday..nothing major, just tidy up the fringe that is getting long in front of the forehead..i've never been to this sort of express cut (though the trend has started 2 or 3 years back) cause i'm very particular about my hair..

i don't get to find hairdresser that i like since, let me see..once in sg.wang a guy named Steven back in year 2001. He is the first one who introduce me to fringe since at that time, i was still with the center-part long hair that stick just right next to my face..i liked it instantly and when the time i return for a second haircut, he was no longer at the salon..can't find him though..

then i found another perfect hairdresser last year,2006, at the condo where i've rented my room in Cheras..she was a young girl at 20s and she's doing it as freelance after working hours.. we get along quite well in fact..though she's young, but she's good..then she bid me goodbye and went back to her hometown to open her own salon..

In between those years without my favourite hairdresser, i've met some that cut my ear loop and some that mange to hurt my scalp when washing the hair. I've also met some who simply cut the fridge by using just a ruler..damn! i really wonder WTF was she doing! i was totally too dumb-founded that i din know how to react except for rescuing the remaining poor fringe using hair pins..

so QQ Cut is not exactly a place to go..but what the heck, just give it a try afterall what kinda disaster i've never gone through yet.. So, i entered the express salon with lly. As you can see, they are so 'express' that they can finished the hair cut in just 13 mins after you've paid them RM13 for the service.

i did not manage to take a lot of picture cause it's kinda stressful knowing that everything is going on express mode, i just can't simply take my own sweet time taking pictures of their closet, hair blower ( that actually appeared like a vacuum, vacuuming your hair ), they even sterilized the every tools they used from scissor to hair broom..

Everything happened so fast that i'm not sure what has happened actually hahahaa but mine was a simple hair cut, i wonder how it is if i need a major change in my hairstyle..perhaps next time..

not much diff...except for the fringe being sideway to front..

the green ball that turn me into mutan..

i went to Midvalley today with lly and we were just plainly doing window shopping when i came across this at teddy tales.. It's a green ball in a net, it's almost like a stress ball..i was kinda excited about it cause it looked extremely disgusting yet funny..so happily, i bought it home and can't wait to release my stress on it hahaha look at the video to find out how it is actually...

just look at it...at close up, it looks like a brain and from the second pic, it looks like a snake head to me..eeeiiii i hate snake! i hate them big time..so i started to squeeze hard but however, it seems only one of the ballon pop-out instead of how it should be like in the video...then, it burst! damn it! there goes the ball and my money within 5 mins and the news is the stress is still stressing in me..&*%$#

it's ocean green gel was all over my palm..then i try to close my palm..at that times, it actually looked like as though i'm one of the mutan in x-men, dripping green blood after being attacked by a green giant monster that looks like a ball..ARGGGGGG....

i fought! i fought hard but yet i lost and there i was lying next to that BLOODY STUPID BALL dying from excessive lost of blood......

okie... okie.. i exaggerated but hey, i've just lost my new toy, so it doesn't hurt to have some role play with the damn ball before it ended in the waste basket rite....

when you lose a tyre..

i found out that one of my back tyre was totally flat right after work. In fact, i didn't know about it until when i try to make a u turn and i realised that something is wrong with my car. So, i quickly parked my car and get down to see what is wrong and truly not pleased, i saw the puncture tyre.

to be honest, at the moment, i really didn't know what to do, who to call and where to begin. the sky is getting dark, the wind is blowing strongly..God please don't rain..please..

so immediately, i called up dad and he asked me to lock the car, parked it there and ask some mechanic guys to come back tomorrow. alternatively , i can ask my senior or other male colleagues to help out.

see the flat tyre?

instead, i called up my cousin bro and a friend who is working nearby but both of them are already home..then NEE came to the rescue!! i was trying to ask nee to bring me to a nearby workshop to find someone when she exclaimed that she had a fren who can help!

3 mins later, she called me back and says that she's coming to find me and waited for her friend who is on the way as well..there's no word to describe how thankful i am for NEE..it was just in about 5 mins, both nee and her friend, Sung are there with me..

It was just like seeing a doc, i was so afraid that he might says things like " this is not good.."..no no no no, in fact, if he ever 'sigh' or say the word "shit!" (even in the softest tone).. i do think i'l faint..

instead, the first thing Sung said was.."oh... flat tyre only izzit?" kakakakakak lol to a guy it's just "izzit" to a girl it's "IZZIT A BIG PROB?IZZIT DYING?ZZIT THERE'S NO WAY TO REPAIR IT? IZZIT HAVE TO TOLL THE CAR?? IZZIT GOING TO BE EZPENSIVE??" izzit can mean alot of things, you know...

So back to the story, Sung helped me to change my tyre and suddenly we heard Sung's voice saying" wah!! got aquarium la!"

haih..no eye see...btw, that's nee's finger pointing..

That's d shy, quiet but helpful Sung hehehe

the tyre changing process captured since me and nee got nothing to do but to make some noise, and keep Sung enjoying his work with our own meaningless jokes.. hehehe
SPECIAL THANKS TO NEE AND SUNG!!!!! luckily i found u both heheheh..
p/s: it's not easy to get nee, not to mention getting nee and gotten nee to get sung cause they are always busy with something or at somewhere else..am so thankful for that..

as mentioned to nee, i wonder this is my lucky day or unlucky day.Ping said that his is the good luck within the bad luck...

nee nee the angel that came to rescue!!!hehehe THANK YOU!!! MUACKS!! btw, no pic of sung la~ hehehe Thank GOD he's there too :)

parking the car.

many asked y do i have to go to the office at 7am when i actually starts work at 9am? mind ya the duration from my place to my office is about 5-10 minutes only ( depending on the traffic) worst come to worst, the duration is about 20 mins including "jam"..

do you think i have a choice? just look at the street near your office area.. cars q-ing up one by one along both side of the road..parking along the yellow & white lines which spells illegal and so you think i wanna park the car there on purpose too?our parking space at the office area is just as bad..

don't u think that if i were given a choice i wouldn't fork out those money to park my car safely in those seasonal parking rather than those seasonal penalty..

sad to say, i have to go to the office early not to work but to park my car..

even they get to enjoy the privilege..

wedding card..

been playing with illustrator recently because my new job requires me to design flyers for our clients.. occasionally I will have to help my clients to design flyers on their latest promotions for internal and external use.

My senior thought me on illustrator so am spending my free time now playing it and hopefully am able to illust something out of it.. :)

in my first attempt, i managed to draw my first flower and writing my name for my template.

then last 2 days, i took another step in drawing some retro graphics..i spoke to chloe and greeny today and both thought that i took the picture from somewhere else and added my domain in that's all hahaha nola girls, i drew it hehehe..hope it looks ok..

my colleagues who saw the drawing actually thought i have drawing background which i don't..one of the girl in my department is getting married end of the year and she actually want me to design her invitation card.. I told her that i was jus drawing for fun and she insists that i can try to help her out and if i decided nope then it's ok, jus give it a try..

so i did my third drawing with illustrator for the picture below...

haven complete the whole thing yet so will update again once the background and details are filled..

kinda excited about it so far and thought of sharing with you guys first...

cheers~

ice ball and bicycle

"ma..can i have 10 cent?" ah ming asked his mother who is busy putting on ah mei's fisherman hat. It was a sunday afternoon and as usual ah ming is back at his grandmother's house in a little kampung. It is only on sunday that ah ming and ah mei get the chance to go to ah ma's house. Ah ming was seven and ah mei was just five. Both of them still have a baby brother , ang kuchai (little baby in cantonese) at the age of one.

Ah ma's (grandma) house is like any regular terace house, with a small sandy car pouch in front. A few old black colour bicycles that ah gong (grandpa) used to travel in the village and also ah ye's (aunty ) only proton saga parked beside the road and just next to the drain. Mum never let ah ming and ah mei played in the drain though tadpoles and fishes called longkang fish seems inviting.

The house was full of noises. Cousins sisters and brothers running around, laughing and playing marble balls on the sand, baby crying for milk and adults chatting among themselves. A weekend where all aunties gather at ah ma's house to share their stories of their in-laws and also their problems and happiness with their sisters. Though ah ma's house was simple and ah ma was a lady with not much words but it was at ah ma's house that everyone found a shelter. Ah ma was very special. She's never lost temper nor did she ever raised her voice. Despite the noises, it was the most peaceful place ever to be.

"Kor, wait for me!!! wait!!" yelled ah mei while trying to get away from mum who is still messing with her fisherman hat towards her brother who is already had his feet on the bicycle pedal.

"KOR!!" " Come quickly!! aiyo! every where also you want to follow" grumbled ah ming.

"hehehe " grin little ah mei and hopped, she landed at the back of the bicycle.

with a swing, ah ming got on the bicycle seat and pedal quickly while ah mei's looked back, hand's putting on her head to keep the hat from flying away and saw the others cousins following up. Smiling and waving to each other, cycling skills is practically born in every kampung child. Over taking one and another, pointing and laughing at cousins who are far behind. All the children are heading over to "ah keat's stall" at the corner lot to get some ice ball. It was certainly a heavenly treat take under the hot glaring sun.

"kor, i didn't bring any money...can i share your ice ball?" ah mei asked while looking at ah ming with the most innocent eyes of a child.

"aiyer, u a!!" ah ming handed over the whole ice ball for his little sister to take a bite. Despite the one second unwillingness, ah ming was a loving brother.

"hehehe, thanks kor!" and ah mei took a first bite "wah!! u a!! such a big bite!!" shouted ah ming while glaring at ah mei. But ah ming did not try to take back the ice ball, instead he watched his sisters enjoying her second bite, her third, her fourth and her every other bite of the ice ball and he smiled to himself.

"come ah mei, let's go home" said ah ming after ah mei has finished eating. Obediently, ah mei climbed to the back seat of the bicycle while ah ming pushed the bicycle home slowly.

"kor, do you want to have ice ball again? when i have money i will treat you in return k!" ah mei said.

"yala!yala! i want a bigger one k" said ah ming.

"sure!!" exclaimed ah mei.

yet, ah mei's promises did not bring smiles to her brother, instead only at the age of seven, ah ming learned to fought his tears back and not allowing a tear drop in front of his little sister. His sister was his companion, his friend and his sister most importantly. They woke up together, had breakfast together, he walked his sister to nursery school, have fun together and they take turns to accompany each other when either one is being punished to stand by the house pillar for being naughty.

At the pillar they shared stories and chatted to make sure time flies before they knew it. Ah mei always cry whenever mum punishes ah ming. To her, her brother never did wrong, her brother never should be punished so. There was once, mum had misplaced her money and she had thought ah ming took it. Ah ming was canned while ah mei cried and yelled continuously towards her mum saying "ah kor didn't take it! he didn't!!" but do ah mei know if ah ming ever took it? she did not.

Ah ming is a working adult now. Standing by is a lovely lady, tall, slim and graceful. She's his lovely wife. Looking down is the altar of Ah mei.

20 years ago, ah mei was dignosed with brain cancer and by the time the family realised, ah mei's cancer had reached stage three. At that time, mum kept crying at the kitchen especially when ah mei is sleeping.

Ah ming knew that his sister is suffering and he knew too that ice ball would make his sister smile as how she always had. That day, ah ming gave his little is her favourite ice ball in return to have her smile forever planted in his mind.

That day too is the last time he had ever push a bicycle with ah mei, talking and laughing with him while sitting at the back.

starry starry night..

things has been going really weird these days..

i saw many faces that i had seen before
i have to take double route to complete a certain task or getting to a certain place repeatedly happened along the week
i have headache the whole week through which i have never had such problem before
something is wrong with my brain
just like the song VINCENT, it's starry starry night every night

i have been dreaming every night, yes, trust me, every night..
i dreamt of stars..chinese stars that is..

updated up to last night, i had dreamt of

jacky cheung, aaron kwok, andy lau, tanya chau, michael wong, emil chau, jeff , xiao choo (imagine, xiao choo too is in the list! man i dun even know any of his songs)

no i have not been listening to the above mentioned artistes songs, watching their movie and deffinately not a crazy fan.besides jacky cheung..

but hey, even if so, i won't be dreaming about star (different stars) every night though!!

nope, i have never assist them before when i was with genting...
i still long for the job i had b4 this? nope, couldn't be happier than what i am doing now..entertainment is not a field for those who are emotional..it's a very crude and cruel field indeed..

my mind is certainly playing some kinda joke on me..or perhaps, there is something the mind wanna warn me about..

man..right i am seeing stars..

all for love..

laughters fills the air
nonsense colour the conversations
silliness emerging from innocents
friendship that seems to only matters

we brave it all through our quests
beating the rest at the battle field
we sangs sweetly like birds singing in the sky
we marched proudly knowing we are the best
we stood up, we support and we care
we are each other pillars, each other shelters
friends we are not merely as
SISTERS is what separate us from the rest

beautiful, pure and true
happiness that fill
i thank God for sending me angels
guarding me throughout the years

fellow angels,
i thank you for all the memories that we shared
supports and unconditional love that has given
in return you have my words
I'll stand by you just as how you had stand by me

love, kaisim

heart blog

"This entry is dedicated to Go Dot Com contest with prizes sponsored by 5xmom who runs the Make$ Money$ blog and she is contributing back to the blogging community with the money she earned. She will be giving away monthly prizes if this contest is popular. Please encourage your readers and friends to participate as well."

I’ve always have the love for writing. It is amazing how a person can know another person through their writing. Not only how the words carry the meanings but how it deliver the feeling as well. (Although there is no way, a guy will understand how a girl feels through her writing).

I like the way sentences are constructed in the most beautiful way ever, just like in one of my
post here. I used to write a lot of poems and short article for ‘syiok-sendiri’ purposes back in my secondary school. I was introduced blogging through a bunch of bloggers kaki in uni. Finally there is a space on the internet where I can drop my thoughts and little masters pieces from time to time and “ohh…ah...wah….” at myself non-stop. And of course occasionally showing off a bit to friends that you know, I can be a poet also kekeke

At one time, I was addicted to blog that I wrote few posts in a day and nearly twenty over posts in a month. It was from the
silly toilet to heavy stuff like this. As I looked back at my posts, I see how I perceive things when I was younger and how I can feel a different “me” now reading a different “me” in the past. I have grow.

Blogging allows my love for writing to flow freely
Blogging allows me to convey my feelings into words.
Blogging allows me to get connected with another blogger a.k.a writers emotionally, spiritually and experience-mentally ( sharing peoples life experience/stories, thoughts and feelings la!)
Blogging allows me to becareful of my mistakes and to be thankful for everything.
Blogging reminds me of who I am.

There. :)

shall post more..

have you seen me?

Have you ever meet someone that looked very familiar as though you’ve met them somewhere and sometime ago? It is possible as many people belief that we have sixth sense and our mind happens to travel faster in our dreams than in reality.

We are able to see people or even landed ourselves in a situation that is so familiar. Every words or conversation that took place has happened once before in your dream. I am definitely not the only one who has experiences such happenings. There are even countless of organizations or group study on such phenomena.

“ Future Studies discipline is referred to by different terms, depending on the cultural context. Such names include future studies, foresight, futurism, futurology, prospective and futuribles (in France, the latter is also the name of the important 20th century foresight journal published only in French), and prospectiva (in Latin America). Futures studies has become the common term in the English-speaking world.

Futurologists attempt to apply
Strategic Foresight for forecasting alternative futures. While forecasting -- i.e., attempts to predict future states from current trends -- is a common methodology, professional scenarios often rely on "backcasting" -- i.e., asking what changes in the present would be required to arrive at envisioned alternative future states. For example, the Policy Reform and Eco-Communalism scenarios developed by the Global Scenario Group rely on the backcasting method. Practitioners of futures studies classify themselves as futurists or foresight practitioners.”-wikipedia.org

But this time it is different. I saw many people that I had seen before. We chatted before and I know we knew each other. Every corner, everyday, I meet these people that I had seen somewhere before. Perhaps it was in my past life that we are somehow related.

They are not one person, not two but at least ¼ of the people in the office. I’ve seen them before and I wonder if they know me too…

p/s; I’m not crazy..in case u are wondering ..

Left-Right

Got this from a mail..very interesting..
LEFT OR RIGHT?
First, identify yourself as right or left brain person:
1. Hold your hands together, as if you were praying.
Look at your hands. If you see

Left thumb is below the right thumb ---> left brain
Right thumb is below the left thumb ---> right brian

2. Fold your arms in front of you (as if you are angry)

Right arm above left arm ---> left brain
Left arm above right arm ---> right brain

Based on 1+2 (order important), below is the interpretation of your personality:

Right-Left

Considerate, traditional, indirect type
can instinctly read other's emotion, and respond friendly by natures.
Although not very into taking intiatives in moving forward, but this person
will always take a step back in supporting others. Stable personality and
considerate, give others a being protected feeling. But the weakness is
they cannot say no; regardless how unwilling they are, they will take care
of others.

Right-Right

Loves challenges type
Straightfoward. Once they decided on one thing, will take action right
away. Very curious, and love challenges. Dare to face dangers without
thinking through (sometimes foolishly). Their weakness is they dont listen
to others, will filter in only what whey want to hear in a conversation,
and very subjective. However, because of their straightforward attitude,
they tend to be fairly popular.

Left-Left

Dedicated, cold, perfectionist
Very logical in all aspects. The only way to defeat (or win over) him/her
is through reasons. Has a lot of prides, and feeling strongly about doing
the right thing. If they are your friends, they are very trustworthy.
However, if they are your opponets, they will be very tough to deal with.
Because they can be very "anal" as a perfectionist, they usually leave a
bad impression of being hard to deal with when first met.

Left-Right
Likes to take care of others, leader type
Has a cool and keen observation ability to see through situations, yet
still can be considerate in others needs. Because of their cool and calm
nature, and strong sense of responsibility, they tend to become head of a
group. Popular among people. However, they may not be able to help
themselves in meddling because they want to take care of others too much.
Very concerned about how others view them, and always on alert.
which is yours? mine is at the title.
