Well in just another few hours we will be bidding goodbye to 2007. i dun remember concluding year 2006 but i do remember i wrote a post bidding goodbye to year 2005 and there were many 'first time' experiences that year..
this year, it seems quiet different.. looking back, i was indeed a young girl..year 2007 has been a year full of mixed emotions..everything seems extreme..extremely happy, extremely thankful, extremely touched and of course extremely disappointed, terrifying, hurt, lost and extremely exhausted.
all these extremes has somehow or someway 'force' me to grow and i did ( i hope) ..let's see y..
January 2007 - Life is full of philosophies, but how many do really apply all of them( even if it's only one).
February 2007 - Dreams allow you to explore without any control including your fear-which is somthing you wish you could take control off.
March 2007 - When dreams are shattered, hopes are gone, as cruel as it sounds, life still goes on.
April 2007 - Who knows me better if not you?
May 2007 - The grass is not always greener on the other side
June 2007 -Look inside and you shall find, despite all the worst, there's still something worth to be thankful off
July 2007 - Ending doesn't always spell sadness, sometimes ending could be the best way to a better begining
August 2007 - A new chapter of life
September 2007 - Smile and smell
October 2007 - Once a habit, always a habit
November 2007 - Life is simple , live life simply
December 2007 - Started in hell ended in heaven.
From jan to june, my life was nothing but sadness, i was realli tired back then and i couldn't be thankful enough to end the journey and as mentioned in my post, my final says is ';ve done it, i've given my best and i'm willing to let go.
July till Dec , the second half of the year, things started to get better again.. happiness seems closer to me again. I found another great job, surrounded with great ppl..at first, i couldn't even believe myself..i've got tons of pic to post but i've lost my usb cable..even ping said it's like returning to heaven from hell hehehe
relationship wise, my love for ping grow stronger each day.. he stood by me always..never once he left me alone..
family wise...what else could i say, they know me inside out..they love me with their entire heart and thank you mum and dad for 'letting' me go ( dun mistaken, it's not wat u think, and u may not even understand :)
2007 has been a challenging year so i hope year 2008 will be a greater year..
my wishes to is as usual may everyone will be happy, healthy, wealthy and surrounded with love and happiness always~~
p/s: There's so many things that happened in dec that i shall blog next year kakaka cause am too packed now..been kinda busy with reports n stuff..

pirates of the port dickson - part 2 to annual dinner
We are now pirates too lined up at the hallway to get our name registered as the new ship mate.
tattoo for free!!!!
Delicious and mouth watering buffet dinner awaits for all pirates on board at the dining hall. Captain Daniel Chan gave a welcome speech as well as a short review on Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Together with both his first mate, Pirate Tay and Pirate Chen, they toasted to all the crew for successfully hunting down treasure and gold worth XXXX, thus marking year 2007 a history. “Aye, captain!”
Games and performance such as “How Low Can You Go” limbo rock, lucky draw and disco dancing rounded up the night. Not forgetting, fashion is also part of pirates. The best dressed male category was won by Caption Hook Alex Verghese and female category by Lady Carine Chu. They each walk away with RM500 JUSCO shopping vouchers. Fellow pirates enjoyed themselves dancing and partying the whole night through. Every pirate gets to win a prize during the lucky draw. The night ended at about 1am in the morning……
partying hard~

annual dinner
It was a broad daylight when all associates from IM Malaysia were captured as hostages by a group of pirates. Our mateys from Johor, Penang and Kuching were too in danger.
We were transported in a pirate land ship a.k.a the bus to a small town by the name of Port Dickson. The pirates on board told us that there are already a group of pirates waiting for us there. At that moment, it seems that we are destined to walk on the plank. We reached Avillion Resort at about 4pm. Shabby it ain’t, scary it wasn’t. In fact, we were settled in a beautiful water chalet shared among three hostages.
The sound of wave splashing against the shore and birds chipping in the sky, traditional Malay music instruments were playing as we were ushered along the way. The room was comfortable, the scenery was magnificent and all of the sudden, pirates that are usually fierce, loud, terrifying and harsh turned friendly, helpful and cheerful. “Ahoy” were shouted here and there. We must be dreaming.
i truly thought we will stay in somekind of service apartment in PD which at least 8 people cramped into an unit..well, i guess i was wrong
Let the pictures tell you the story..
this is the resort that we stay at PD during our annual dinner last saturday
look at the sky..
my and my frens - it's wonderful that i can finally call colleagues as frens..
private beach..
open air shower room, when you look up, you saw the sky, when you look down , you saw the sea..perfect!
bath tub just next to the shower, they have bamboo binds that separates them..i forget to take the pictures of the binds..
our room, i slept on the middle bed..
our water chalet room
5 STARS Avillion PD...it certainly brings out a different sight of PD..i don't feel like i was at PD at all..
But dreams are dreams, facts is what we see. We changed into the pirates costumes willingly and gathered before being taken to another place called Marina Bay at 6pm....
to be continue...more photos coming up~

pirates of port dickson
Like many companies, except for my previous company, every year most companies are bound to have annual dinner in late December or early January. My current company will be having one as well and this time they have decided to go with a theme: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Erm..pirates I say yer.
well, I don’t actually plan to rent my costume nor do I wanna buy one for myself, I’ve decided to turn my cupboard, drawer and cabinet upside down to see if I can find anything for me to dress up. Aha! Internet is the heaven to source for some great ideas like….
And according to wikihow, to dress like I pirate, I might need
Bandanas with skulls, black and red designs. – should not be a problem..
Eye patch – erm..where can I hunt one down?
Peasant shirts – no prob, gotta change my convo oversized white blouse into smthg else.
Shirts with cut-off sleeves – nola, I got long sleeve d..
Billowing capris – yea I think I have a pair from giordano that has been left in the cupboard long time ago
Costume jewelry – vest? Boots? Belt? Scull necklace? Shoulder pet – let’s say Monkey! Hehehe and earrings!!!
Fake tanner – no need la, at night no diff lol
Black, brown, natural or flesh-toned eyeshadow – OK!
Black or brown mascara – OK!
Black or brown eyeliner – OK!
Red, flesh-toned or natural colored lipstick or lip gloss (not fake-looking) – OK!
Warm blush - no need too la
Hair highlighter – no need three la
It's gonna be fun I bet and it's pretty funny to think how it actually is since this will be my first annual dinner/party.
:)
I've even got a pirate name generated specially for the event..yer can call me
Reeking Glynnis Sparrow!!
hahahahahaha!!!!
p/s: this is actually a back-dated post as I was rather occupied recently, thus wasn't able to find time to blog as frequent as i did last month.
pirates, here we come :)
