chinese subtitle

was switching channel as usual though yes, there's only five local tv channel we have.. but hey, i still have the right to swtich channels rite?! kekeke

anyway the issue is, i actually, for the first time saw chinese subtitles for our local production...i mean, perhaps i'm the last one to see it but i am really impressed....i mean not only the chinese character looked nice on screen (cox i dun read chinese) keke but i really think it is a good move of RTM to take such step to have chinese subtitles for malay movie, then english subtitles for some malay movies and at the same time, malay subtitles for english, chinese, tamil, spanish and korean movies.

it gives more opportunities for others who master only one language to enjoy what the local tv stations provide...i dun read chinese neither do i read tamil of cox, but with the subtitles at least i dun missed out excellent movie like Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gum and cried till my eyes popped-out.. yes i know it's a hindi show and you might be laughing at me because i dun even understadn what they are saying but with the power of SUBTITLES...yes, i enjoyed them a lot..

but some of the subtitles jus makes you cry because they r too hillarious...there are those that will just put a direct translation which will make you laughed your head off hahaha i saw one last nite in a korean movie at tv3/8tv....d girl was very frighten bcox she thought that d guy (her husband) is going to rape her..in d story, they r suppose to act like husband n wife but in actual life they r jus merely acting to show d media, something like d one in d korean drama "full house"..n she was yelling n begging d guy not to have sex with her and u know wat the subtitles wrote? it wrote "bolehkah, kita tidak bermesra?" kekekeke it's kinda funny..imagine if they use d word "berasmara"instead of "bermesra"!!hahaha pengsan aku!!

anyway, bk to d story..am so glad to see some improvement in our local tv station..i mean, apart from the fact that they show the malay movies with chinese subtitles mid in d afternoon, no one will realise that bcox everyone will still b working or even studying...

but nevertheless, it's a good effort and people can really learn n enjoy movies that r not only of thier own language but to b able to learn others languages n culture as well.. :)

p/s: can someone tell me..am i'm d only one who din know about tis?
