smth to ponder..to love or to hate?

"regret, i hate to regret..becox..i cannot forget d things that i've regretted, i can't reach bk to what i've missed n finally i hate feeling helpless for i can't do anything about it.."

d lect looked att me n said smthg like it's something sounds very heavy ( from the heart)...chloe says i sounded "deep"

then d lect asked" how do you turn(persuade yourself) to love what you hate?"

"persuade myself to love regret by telling myself that only through regret i learnt from my mistake...from regret i learnt to appreciate more of what i hav and finally it is also through regret i am able to see what are the things that really matters to me..."

that's what happened in d "persuasive writing" class today...we r suppose to learn to persuade ppl including ourselves... but again how successful can v be in persuading ppl n most of all ourselves, especially when it is conflict that lies in us....if so, r v living in reality or fantasy?..can v love and hate at d same time?..

it's easy to say but it's hard to do...is persuasive writing suppose to be a form of art/skill that meant for us to escape reality or a way for us to see the truth n b optimistic..?
